Conference World Day of Safety and Health at Work 2018

Department of Production Engineering and Safety of the Faculty of Management at the Czestochowa University of Technology on 25 April invites to the 5^th Scientific-Promotional Conference organized as part of the World Day of Safety and Health at Work. The conference will start at 10.00 in the auditorium of the Faculty of Management at the Częstochowa University of Technology. This year, we will discuss about "Health and safety at work for young, professionally active people".

Young people who are at the beginning of their career belong to the group of those employees who most often succumb to dangerous events. They are often not adequately informed about the risks to which they are exposed, nor do they have the ability to identify threats that are "hidden" (e.g. occupational stress) or are difficult to identify.

At the same time - next to the scientific session - students of the last semesters of the Faculty of Management, will take part in three types of certified workshops, namely:
1. "First premedical aid with particular emphasis on exposure to hazardous substances" (workshops will be conducted by a rescuer of the Central School of the State Fire Service in Częstochowa).
2. Legal aspects of workplace violence and mobbing (workshops will be conducted by an employee of the National Labor Inspectorate).
3. Antimobbing training (the workshops will be run by a certified coach, dr Małgorzata Randak-Jezierska, WZ PCz employee).
